The rumor mill is beginning to make its final swirl as the MLB trade deadline nears this coming Thursday with David Price still a member of the Tampa Bay Rays.  Price is the most prominent name rumored to be on the move, and with his track record the former Cy Young winner is likely to command a massive return if the Rays do decide to deal their ace.

The latest team to enter the interest for Price is the team the Rays are welcoming in on Monday night for a three game series, the Milwaukee Brewers.

According to FOX Sports' Jon Morosi:

"The Brewers are among the teams to express interest in Price, according to major league sources. Their inquiry was akin to putting their "foot in the water," one source said."

According to Morosi, if the Brewers were to sweep the Rays in their three game series this week the odds still would be steep that Milwaukee would land Price as opposed to divisional rival St. Louis who has a deeper farm system.
