Wil Myers hit one of three Tampa Bay home runs in support of Mark Lowe and five reliever, as the Rays won their fifth straight Grapefruit League game, a 7-4 victory over the Baltimore Orioles in Sarasota.

Myers, hitting leadoff for the second straight game, kept his bat hot, launching a long home run to centerfield off starter Wei-Yin Chen to start the game.

Baltimore countered in their half of the first as Adam Jones reached on a throwing error by Jayson Nix, stole both second and third base on the same play, and scored  when Chris Davis beat the infield shift for a single.

Tampa Bay added three more runs in the third on an RBI double by Wilson Betemit and a two-run homer by Sean Rodriguez.

The Orioles got one run back in the bottom of the third, as Jones hit a one-out double, moved to third on a groundout and scored on an error by Curt Casali.

The Rays added two more runs in the fourth on RBI doubles by Betemit and Cole Figueroa, and a run in the fifth on a solo home run by Jayson Nix.

Jones kept plugging away in the sixth, homering off Steve Geltz to get Baltimore back to within a 7-3 margin, and Matt Lollis allowed an RBI single to Nolan Reimold in the bottom of the ninth to set the score.

Tampa Bay can make it six wins in a row Thursday evening when they take on the Minnesota Twins at Charlotte Sports Park.  Cesar Ramos will get the start against Scott Diamond.  Coverage begins on WDAE at 7:00 Thursday, with first pitch at 7:05.

NOTES: OF Matt Joyce left the game in the second inning with a stiff neck, but manager Joe Maddon does not consider it serious.  "Couple of heat packs and a rubdown.  He'll be all right," the manager said after the game.
