Grand Jury Indicts Suspect in Tampa Body Parts Case

TAMPA -- The man suspected of killing a Pennsylvania woman and dropping her remains into Tampa Bay has formally been indicted.

A Hillsborough County grand jury has returned a first degree, premeditated murder charge against 69 year old Robert Kessler, in the death of 47 year old Stephanie Crone-Overholts.

Her remains were found in McKay Bay last month.

Prosecutors say they haven't decided whether they'll seek the death penalty.

The Hillsborough State Attorney's office also announced adult charges against a 16-year-old boy accused of shooting and killing a 13-year-old outside an East Tampa community center Novermber 23rd. The maximum sentence would be life in prison.
