Tampa Super Bowl Ratings Lowest Since '07

TAMPA -- Fewer people watched Super Bowl 55 in Tampa than any other NFL title game since 2007.

ViacomCBS says the championship game drew an audience of 96.4 million as the Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. The last time numbers were that low was Super Bowl 41, when the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears.

One reason for the smaller audience may have been the Bucs' dominance for most of the game. Another reason: more people streaming the game on new platforms.
