Arrrrgh you ready for a pirate invasion? Plan to get your hands on as many beads and doubloons as possible? This is the weekend!
It's Tampa's annual Gasparilla Pirate Invasion and parade.
The action begins Saturday morning with the sailing of the Jose Gasparilla from the Tampa Yacht Club to the Tampa Convention Center. That begins at 11 a.m.
The pirates are expected to land at the convention center around 1 p.m. with the parade stepping-off at Bay to Bay and Bayshore Boulevards at 2.
Be mindful of road closures throughout downtown Tampa, beginning with the closing of Bayshore Boulevard at 10 p.m. Friday.
