Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A Clearwater man died after his car rear-ended another car in Tampa early Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Matthew Cain's Ford Focus overtook the car in front of him and crashed into the back of it on Hillsborough Ave. east of Countryway Blvd. shortly after midnight, according to an FHP news release. Cain's car then crashed into a concrete utility pole, and Cain, 43, died at the scene.
The driver of the other car, Dasha Frary, 18, of Tarpon Springs was unhurt. No one faces charges, the news release said.
