Colder Weather on the Way

TAMPA (970 WFLA) -- The biggest chill of the season arrives. 

Forecasters at the National Weather Service say a cold front is moving in behind slow-moving(Saturday) morning rains... it'll drop temperatures into the 40's tonight (Saturday) and some areas just north of us could see freezing temperatures and frost over the weekend. 

Pasco County officials are opening cold weather shelters Sunday night. That's expected to be the chilliest night of a cold wave moving in from the north today (Saturday). Shelters will be open in Holiday and Zephyrhills... they'll close Monday morning at 7 a.m.
