Voluntary Evacuations on Withlacoochee River

BROOKSVILLE (970 WFLA) -- Hernando County is calling for a voluntary evacuation along the Withlacoochee River. It's expected to reach a foot and a half above flood stage at Trilby by Monday.

Emergency management director Cecilia Patella says they don't want to risk the lives of first responders with last-minute rescues.

Authorities expect Talisman (TAL-iz-man) Estates, Lacoochee and other areas to experience flooding.
