Tampa Bay, Fla.-(970 WFLA)-Area traffic crashes have claimed two lives this weekend.  A pedestrian was killed in Saint Pete Beach and a motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Ellenton.

Pinellas deputies say 17 year-old Patrick McClean of Saint Petersburg was crossing Gulf Boulevard when he was hit by a car. Investigators say a second car then hit McClean. He was dead at the scene.

The investigation continues, but they say alcohol may have contributed to the death.

In Ellenton, the F.H.P. says 20 year-old Adam Bookhamer of Lakeland was killed on  U.S. 301 when a jeep and trailer pulled into his path.  Bookhamer's motorcycle went under the trailer. That investigation continues.
