ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (970 WFLA) – Two people are dead after a three-vehicle crash Saturday night on the Pinellas Bayway.

According to investigators, an SUV heading westbound over the Pinellas Bayway entered a right curve heading toward the toll area and crossed the center line striking a truck head on that was traveling eastbound. During the crash, deputies say the back of the truck hit the front of another car heading eastbound. 

Deputies say the driver of the SUV and the driver of the truck died at the scene.

Deputies say the driver of the car, the car’s passenger, and a passenger in the SUV were not injured, however, the child passenger in the SUV was also not injured but was transported to All Children's Hospital for precautionary reasons.
