TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Tampa Police are asking for the public's help in identifying whoever was inside of an SUV that was seen fleeing from the scene of a fatal shooting that took place on August 21st. They released the video footage above.
Police say those inside of the Ford Escape are wanted for questioning as part of the homicide unit's active investigation into the death of 23-year-old Terence Wilson of Tarpon Springs. Police say Wilson was found dead outside of the "District 3" club, located at the corner of Whiting Street and Jefferson Avenue. Detectives believe the shooting may have been related to an incident inside of the club involving Wilson and another group.
During the investigation, authorities say detectives identified 27-year-old Edgardo Molina of Tampa as a suspect in Wilson's death. Police arrested Molina on August 22nd for second degree murder.
Additional arrest(s) may be forthcoming based on further evidence and witness statements.
