TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The mystery of who has bid on downtown Tampa's Channelside Bay Plaza property will be solved soon.

Monday, those bidders will present their plans to the public at 3 p.m. at the Port Tampa Bay offices in Tampa

The port authority has bid $5.75 million dollars for the foreclosed Channelside property. Hillsborough County Commissioner Sandra Murman is on the Port Authority Board and says the number of people who bid on the property is unknown.

“We don’t even know how many people bid. You know that’s the other thing. So we have no idea how many people really bid on this - there could be just a couple of people,” Murman said.

A bankruptcy court in Delaware will hold the auction on Wednesday.
