Dr. Althea Walker, Department Manager, Recruitment for Hillsborough County Schools, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss Hillsborough school district is hosting virtual job fairs.
They are looking for 1,000 teachers and you do not have to have a teaching degree-- there are alternative pathways to become certified.
Starting salaries are competitive with every major city in Southeast and mentors are available for all teachers.
