So what's sparking all this growth?
Tampa's growing tech and startup scene are booming, and investors taking note and are planning more and more residential units downtown.
Over 14,000 residents are living in the downtown area, and those numbers are expected to double in less than four years.
There are 2,000 units currently under construction, and more than 4,000 new residential units proposed.
The Partnership runs all the cool events in downtown Tampa like Booms by the Bay for the 4th of July and coming up this holiday season - Winter Village (ice-skating) at Curtis Hixon Park.
By creating a great environment, more people than ever are choosing to live, work, and play downtown Tampa.
