Tampa Auto Burglars Captured On Video Using Stolen Credit Cards

Tampa, Fla. (NewsRadio WFLA)- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who used stolen credit cards to attempt to buy hundreds of dollars' worth of electronics.

On January 31, between 1:27 p.m. to 1:58 p.m., the suspects opened the victim's unlocked vehicle parked near Cove Bend Rd and Bruce B. Downs Blvd in Tampa. The victim's purse containing multiple credit cards was stolen from the vehicle.

Shortly afterwards, two men were seen on surveillance video inside a Target located at 13658 University Plaza St in Tampa attempting to purchase $762.93 worth of electronics with the victim's stolen credit cards.

The men left in an older model silver pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet 1500.

The burglary suspects are described as white males, both between the ages of 28-35.

One suspect has black hair and a beard. The other suspect has multiple tattoos on both forearms.
