NASA And SpaceX Hope To Launch Today After Tuesdays Delay

Cape Canaveral,Fla.(970 WFLA)-U.S. Air Force forecasters say there's a 90-percent chance of favorable weather conditions for today's launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.  Liftoff is scheduled for 1:16 p.m. eastern time.

The rocket will be carrying a Dragon Cargo Capsule filled with thousands of pounds of supplies and experiments to the international space station.  About eight minutes after launch, residents on the Space Coast can expect to hear triple sonic booms as SpaceX lands the Falcon 9 booster back at the Cape.
