Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Gasoline prices are headed down according to the latest price brief from AAA.
The Auto Club Group's Josh Carrasco says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is now $2.71 here in Florida. That price is down by five cents from a week ago and down 11 cents from a month ago.
Carrasco says the gas prices are being pushed lower due to seasonal demand, winter blend fuel and falling crude oil prices. Carrasco also predicts that pump prices will likely continue to drop into next week.
AAA has the most expensive gas prices in the Panama City area at $2.90. Least expensive gas prices can be found in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area at $2.60.
