Hillsborough sheriff's deputies responded to a murder-suicide near U-S-F.
Sheriff Chad Chronister says a woman returned to her apartment on North 42nd Street to find her son, 30-year-old Juan Hernandez dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and her husband, 59-year-old Michael Kurz, also killed.
Chronister says there had been no history of domestic problems with this family, which had recently moved to this area from St. Pete.
He urges anyone encountering domestic troubles to call the county's crisis hotline by dialing 2-1-1.
