Clearwater Shooting Victim's Autopsy Results Released

Clearwater,Fla. (970 WFLA)- An autopsy seems to confirm what Markeis McGlockton's family says about the shooting that took his life.

The autopsy released  from the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner shows McGlockton was turning away from the shooter when he was shot two months ago in Clearwater.

The Pinellas County Sheriff cited the stand your ground law when he initially declined to charge Michael Drejka for the shooting,  but the autopsy seems to support the claim made by McGlockton's family that he was not a threat at the time of the shooting.

The autopsy also found that McGlockton had amphetamines in his system.
