It's 100 Degrees... But We're Ready for Halloween

 

Fall is here in Bay! And that means a few things... Howl-O-Scream and hockey season! Here's what's going on the Tampa area:

Concerts: 

GAME OF THRONES- This concert pairs clips from the Emmy-winning HBO drama with melodies from a full orchestra and choir, conducted by Ramin Djawadi. The show is Friday at 8 p.m. at Amalie Arena.

NIALL HORAN- The former One Direction star headlines a show at MidFlorida Creit Union Amphitheatre Saturday night. Up and coming country star Marren Morris is the opening act. 

LUCERO- This Memphis rock group takes over the Ritz Ybor at 7 p.m. this Saturday. 

 

Halloween: 

HOWL-O-SCREAM- This annual event opens this Friday night and runs through October 28th. Visit all 6 haunted houses and venture through the 6 scare zones... if you dare!

 

Events:

LIGHTNING FAN FEST- Head to Amalie Arena this Sunday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. to kick off the start of hockey season. There will be player photos and autographs, team scrimmages, Bolts merchandise specials and a Kid Zone for the little Lightning fans. This is a free event, but you do need a ticket! Reserve one here.

TAMPA BAY BOAT SHOW- The Florida State Fairgrounds boats a three-day sales event with the top manufacturers and dealers and all the latest in boating and fishing supplies and accessories. You can even take a class with the Florida Fishing School Seminar Series. This show starts Friday and runs through Sunday. 

FREE MUSEUM DAY- Museums across the country (including 20 right here in Tampa Bay!) are offering free admission Saturday for this nationwide holiday. Check out the Dali, the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art, the Tampa Museum of Art and many more. 

This Week in Dress Up:

MEGACON TAMPA BAY- This massive convention takes over the Tampa Convention Center for the third year in a row. Come meet your favorite celebrity, check out geeky attractions and of course, revel in the thousands of extravagant costumes. You can find Jeffery Dean Morgan, Peter Capaldi and Harry Potter's Weasley Twins. The event is from 4-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sunday.
