Tampa,Fla.(970 WFLA)-Several Hillsborough County Deputies are credited with saving two teenagers from a capsized kayak.

The kayak the 16-year-old's were in this weekend flipped over at the Bay Bayou RV Resort, and the current prevented them from getting to shore.

Four deputies  Corporal Orlys Oquendo, Deputy Daniel Henry (pictured), Deputy Andrew Howard (pictured) and Deputy Chris Dirmitt threw them a rope, the teens caught hold of it, and the deputies pulled them to shore.

No injuries were reported, and one deputy said if the teens weren't wearing life vests, the outcome could have been much worse.
