Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A fire at a salvage yard near Clair-Mel, has left one person dead and another injured.
According to Hillsborough County Fire and Rescue, smoke and flames had covered a mobile home by the time they arrived at the yard in the 1600 block of 51st street south, just after 3 this morning.
Crews had the fire out within thirty minutes, but not before the fire had spread to nearby trees, furniture and piles of debris in the yard. One person was found dead inside the trailer, a second resident was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the blaze.
