Halloween Already?! What's Going on in Tampa this Weekend

As always, it's a busy, busy weekend here in the Bay!

Rock and Roll:

Journey and Def Leppard take the stage Saturday at Amalie Arena in front of a sold-out crowd. Evanescence (accompanied by a full orchestra!) will be at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Friday night.

A unique exhibit comes to the Florida Holocaust Museum- a rock music exhibition displaying the life of Rock and Roll legend Bill Graham. Head to the museum in St. Petersburg this Saturday through February 10th.

Comedy:

Alonzo Bodden won NBC's Last Comic Standing 14 years ago, this weekend you can catch him at Side Splitters for performance's Thursday through Sunday. Michael Coylar from the hit 90's sitcom 'Martin' will be at the Improv in Centro Ybor this weekend.

Theater & Film:

You might remember 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' as the hit Broadway show that Neil Patrick Harris starred in- now it's coming to Tampa! It opens Friday and runs through September 9th at the Straz's Shimberg Playhouse.

If you'd rather watch the screen than the stage, catch the live action version of the Little Mermaid at AMC Classic Centro Ybor 10, AMC Veterans 24 or AMC Sundial 20. The best part? This movie has a Tampa tie in- it is produced by Tampa native Robert Molloy, grandson of the late George Steinbrenner.

This Week in Dress-Up:

It's not too early for Halloween! Well, at least not in Orlando... Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party starts this weekend and runs select nights through October 31st. You won't want to miss this special event- it's one of the only times adults can dress up in the park!!
