Two More Measles Cases in Pinellas

CLEARWATER (970 WFLA) -- Two more cases of measles have been reported in Pinellas County.

The Florida Department of Health in Pinellas says both involve unvaccinated individuals. They're in the same household. But they're not related to the child, also unvaccinated, who was the first measles patient in 20 years in Pinellas, reported Monday (8/13).  This brings the total in Pinellas to three.

DOH-Pinellas says it's working with health providers to identify and notify people who may have been exposed. It's urging anyone who hasn't been vaccinated, to get a shot.
