Red Tide Found in Low Levels in Pinellas County

CLEARWATER (970 WFLA) -- For the first time in this outbreak, state officials are reporting low concentrations of red tide in two samples in Pinellas County.

The latest report from the State Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the concentrations are at "low" or "background" levels.

It's also being reported in four other counties from Manatee to Collier. Those four counties all report respiratory irritation and fish kills.
