Stolen golf cart

Sarasota, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Sarasota County deputies have made an arrest in a stolen property investigation that led them to a methamphetamine manufacturing facility.

Deputies say they found stolen property and meth making materials when they went to 2437 Vinson Avenue to talk with 42 year-old Jon Goodman.  Investigators had information that Goodman was responsible for the thefts of trailers, golf carts and other equipment from Hillsborough County.

During the search, detectives also found chemicals and materials consistent with the manufacture of meth on the property. Goodman has prior arrests for narcotics and is on drug offender probation until next year.

Goodman is already facing a long list of charges, but additional charges are expected as the investigation is continuing.
