Lakeland, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd says road rage triggered a fatal crash at U.S. 98, South, and Cypress Avenue.
Judd says the drivers of a Nissan Altima and a Dodge Ram were cutting each other off and driving in a reckless manner before they collided at the intersection. The impact caused the vehicles to hit a vacant business there.
The driver of the Dodge, 27 year-old Daniel Bagwell, was killed in the crash. The 22 year-old driver of the Nissan escaped with just minor injuries.
