TRENTON, FL (970 WFLA) -- UPDATE: Two Gilchrist County deputies were shot and killed as they ate at a restaurant in Trenton.
GIlchrist County Sheriff Bobby Schultz told reporters that Sergeant Noel Ramirez and Deputy Taylor Lindsey were gunned down through a window as they ate at the Ace China cafe on State Road 26 (Wade Street) around three Thursday afternoon.
Schultz says other deputies found the gunman dead outside the restaurant. He didn't say how the suspect died.
