Plant City, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A stabbing with a pocket knife left one man dead and another jailed on a murder charge, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

At about 10:10 p.m. Saturday, James Michael Meeks got into an argument with Moses Wilson at Wilson's business on James L. Redman Parkway, which doubles as his home. Things escalated, deputies say, when Meeks, 23, pulled out his pocket knife and threatened Wilson. Wilson retreated inside the building, but Meeks followed.

Deputies say witnesses saw Meeks stab Wilson, 49, two or three times in his legs, causing wounds to both legs. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries. Deputies arrested Meeks and took him to the Orient Road Jail.
