Local school threats, a concern

At least two high school students in Tampa have been arrested for making threats to the school.

Investigators determined that both these students--one from Middle High and another from Robinson High--didn't possess any weapons to carry out their threats.  But Tampa police chief Brian Dugan said...doesn't matter.

"If probable cause exists, you will be arrested.  It's that simple", he said during a news conference at the Hillsborough School District Administration headquarters Tuesday.

Hillsborough school superintendent Jeff Eakins is asking students not to re-post on social media any rumors about school violence, reporting those threats or concerns, instead.

"If you see something, say something", said Eakins.

Eakins said all public schools in the district are conducting lockdown-evacuation drills throughout this week.
