BRANDON (970 WFLA) -- Two men are facing armed robbery charges in an incident that almost became a free-for-all gunfight Sunday afternoon in Brandon.
Hillsborough deputies say the victim agreed to meet with two men he's known for about a year, about selling them a gun, on Harvard Woods Drive in the Park at Portofino complex.
They say one suspect, 20 year old Chephren Sahadeo, grabbed the gun and got the drop on the victim, firing on him as he ran for cover. A neighbor with a concealed weapon permit heard the shots while getting a child into a car and fired twice at Sahadeo and the other suspect, Amajhjae Hood, 23. Hillsborough prosecutors are investigating.
