Ruskin, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Hillsborough deputies have arrested a man for sex with a 17 year-old girl.
Investigators say 25 year-old Phillip Penaloza had been involved in a sexual relationship with the teen since August. Penaloza admitted to deputies that he'd been communicating with the girl on Facebook. Penaloza is a registered sexual offender, but his Facebook account was not registered with law enforcement.
The Ruskin man is charged with seven counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and two counts of failure of a sex offender to respond to address.
