Clearwater Beach, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A man died after crashing his jet ski into a boat Saturday night. A 4-year-old girl on the craft suffered critical injuries, authorities said.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission investigators say it happened in the waters near Bay Esplanade when Craig Butz, 52, of Altamonte Springs crashed the jet ski into the center console boat, according to a news release.
Butz died later at a hospital. The unnamed girl, 4, was flown to Bayfront Medical Center, where she remained in critical condition Sunday morning.
