Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Three juveniles are facing misdemeanor charges, after Hillsborough deputies say one of them brought a BB gun to McLane Middle School in a book bag.
That caused a lock down and a secondary search of all eighth graders at the Brandon middle school with metal detectors. No other weapons found.
Deputies are asking parents to remind their children that weapons and look-alike weapons are not allowed on school grounds and even toy guns can get students in trouble.
