Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Officers say the body of 61 year-old Jose Vasques of Apollo Beach has been found in Tampa Bay.
Officers say a tow boat operator spotted an unmanned personal watercraft near the Courtney Campbell Causeway. An overnight search by boat and aircraft failed to turn up any signs of the missing operator.
Daylight allowed searchers to find the man's body in shallow water south of the causeway.
The F.W.C., U.S. Coast Guard, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Deputies and the Tampa Police Department continue to investigate.
