St. Petersburg, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A 43 year old scuba diver is in stable condition after the U.S. Coast Guard medevaced him off a dive boat 20 miles west of Egmont Key on Sunday.
The Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg reports, they received a radio message from crew members of a 23 foot dive boat reporting a diver surfaced complaining of dizziness and asked for medical assistance.
The coast guard sent a 43 foot response boat and brought the unidentified 43 year old man to Fort De Soto Park Bay Pier where EMS was waiting.
