Three Hillsborough County beaches are safe for swimming again.
The state Health Department has lifted the advisories for Ben T. Davis beach, Picnic Island, and Simmons Park. That's based on satisfactory results from follow up testing Sunday.
The beaches were declared off-limits for swimmers, after samples taken August 2nd showed signs of harmful bacteria in the water, frequently seen during the summer rainy season.
