Victims Identified In Resort Robbery

Longboat Key, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Two men are dead after being shot during an early morning robbery at the Zota Beach Resort on Gulf of Mexico Drive.

Longboat Key Police and Manatee County Deputies are working together to catch the killer.  Officers say one man shot both men.  They say the man is considered as armed and dangerous.

Police say both men killed worked at the resort.  Police say 59 year-old Timothy Hurley was the night manager.  The other victim is identified as 51 year-old Kevin Carter of Bradenton.  Carter was the evening security guard at the resort and worked for Victory Security.

Police are talking with people and reviewing surveillance video.
