Sarasota, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A jury has found 35 year-old Rufus Adams guilty of 2nd degree murder in the January 2016 shooting death of William Shipp.
Sarasota officers say Shipp was shot at 1524 25th Street and died later at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Officers arrested Adams after witnesses told them that Adams shot Shipp multiple times during an argument.
Adams' sentencing is set for early May
