Tampa Fla,(970 WFLA)- Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responds to an overnight commercial structure fire at Jersey Mikes Subs.
At approximately 2:45 am Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a reported commercial structure fire at the Jersey Mikes Subs located in the 14900 block of Bruce B Downs Blvd. When crews arrived they reported heavy fire inside the sub shop. A primary and secondary search was performed, and no one was found inside.
Firefighters accessed 3 surrounding businesses to check for fire extension. Jersey Mikes Subs has heavy fire damage, Pinch A Penny Pools, Good Times Smoke Shop, and Mr Dunderbak’s all have minor smoke damage.
It took approximately 17 minutes to get the fire under control, and the fire is currently under investigation.
