Tampa, FL (970 WFLA) - State Troopers say, it happened around 7:30 a.m. when 14 year old Armani De Jesus of Tampa was driving on I-4 at mile marker four near the state fairgrounds when he attempted to change lanes and lost control of the suv, hitting a retaining wall. He and four of his passengers suffered serious injuries. A sixth passenger suffered only minor injuries. The crash closed down part of westbound I-4 for several hours. The interstate has since reopened. De Jesus is charged with careless driving and driving without license. Investigators say, alcohol was not a factor in the wreck.
