LAND O'LAKES, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The woman who cut off a motorcycle rider at an intersection on U.S. 41 and Morgan Road in Pasco County has been arrested on DUI manslaughter charges, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Hannah Patrick, 24, was traveling northbound on U.S. 41 and is accused of making an illegal U-turn, leading to a collision with biker Zachary Kane according to state troopers.
The 44-year old Land O'Lakes resident was transported to St. Joseph's hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In addition to the DUI charges, Patrick is accused of driving with a suspended license and having no proof of insurance.
She was taken to the Pasco County jail and held on $16,000 bond.
