The Pasco County Sheriff's office has charged a 46-year-old man with the attempted murder of a 90-year-old woman.
Detectives say Eric Moore was in a car with Irene Parish, a car driving by a female witness. Investigators say the witness recalls Parish and Moore getting into an argument, with Moore pulling Parish's hair and slamming her head into the car window.
That's when the car pulled into the Racetrac on State Road 54. According to the witness, Moore retrieved a chain and started choking the woman.
Moore was arrested and charged with attempted murder and disorderly intoxication. Parish is in stable condition.
