Largo, Fla. (970 WFLA)-An argument with a roommate leads to child porn charges against a sixth grade math and science teacher at Clearwater Intermediate School.
Largo Police Lt. Joe Coyle says 57 year old Robert Plotkin's roommate reported seeing child pornography on his laptop, which he then threw in a lake behind their Largo apartment. When police arrived, Lt. Coyle says Plotkin retrieved the laptop and turned it over to detectives. Investigators found images of children ages three through 17.
Lt. Coyle says Plotkin has been a teacher at the Clearwater school for the past five years. The images are not of any students. Plotkin is charged with ten counts of possession of child porn and one count of tampering with evidence.
