SARASOTA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A fledgling bald eagle was rescued after it was found in some bushes near a home in Sarasota.
The injured bird was taken to Wildlife Inc. Education and Rehabilitation Center in Manatee County.
The rescuer, Damen Hurd, said on his Facebook page that the eaglet appeared to have crash landed.
"We will do an exam, if nothing serious is found we will give her a little flight time and food, then return her to the nesting site so she can be back with mom and dad," Hurd said.
The video has received thousands of views on Facebook.
