Palmetto Woman Killed By Daughter's Boyfriend, Police Say

PALMETTO, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A search continues for the body of a Palmetto woman who police said was killed by her daughter's boyfriend. 

Tricia Freeman, 47, disappeared last week.  Investigators said 27-year old Roy Nichols has confessed to killing freeman during an argument. 

Nichols and the victim's daughter, 21-year old Kayla Colyer, were arrested in West Virginia. 

Investigators said Nichols admitted to placing Freeman's body in the car trunk before they both drove north.  It's believed the body is located somewhere in Florida.

The car was found abandoned in Ashland, Kentucky where police said blood was discovered on the inside.

Freeman was reported missing when she didn’t show up for work.

Nichols faces a murder charge, while Colyer will be charged with accessory to murder.
