It's Now A Search And Recovery Operation

St. Petersburg, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-The hunt near Pass-a-Grille has been changed from search and rescue to search and recovery as hope fades of finding two men alive.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says it will keep looking for any signs of 21 year-old Jie Lou and 27 year-old Andrew Dillman until at least Monday at dusk.  The two have been missing since this past Tuesday.

Lou had gone swimming off of a charter boat with other Colorado State University students. The students had rented the boat for a four hour cruise.  When Lou had trouble getting back to the boat, charter mate Andrew Dillman jumped into the water help the man.

Both men were pulled away by rough seas.  The U.S. Coast Guard, deputies and others searched thousands of square miles of water with no luck.
