Tampa Police Arrest One In Craigslist Murder

(Tampa, Fla. - 970 WFLA)  Tampa Police have arrested one teen and are searching for a second suspect in the murder of a Pasco man Tuesday evening.  Police say 44 year old James Beck of Holiday and his son arranged to meet with the suspects via Craigslist to sell a dirt bike to them.

Police say Beck and his son traveled to N 18th Street and E 24th Avenue in Tampa with the dirt bike in the bed of a pickup truck.  They met with the two young men and it soon became clear that the suspects intended to rob them.  One of the suspects shot Beck and the suspects took the dirt bike. Beck died of his injuries.

Tampa Police were able to identify and locate 16 year old Ramontrae Williams and found the dirt bike near Williams' residence. Williams has been charged with first-degree felony murder and armed robbery. The search continues for the second suspect.  Detectives have strong leads.
