Riverview, Fla. (970 WFLA)- The first robbery happened around 2:50 am on January 9,, an unknown suspect ordered the Speedway clerk back into the store at 13179 301 Highway South in Riverview. Once inside, the suspect demanded money from the registers. The clerk provided an undisclosed amount of cash from one register to the suspect. The suspect then fled the area on foot.
The second robbery was on January 18th, around 2:44 am an unknown suspect , entered the Speedway located at 13179 301 Highway S in Riverview. Once inside, the suspect demanded money from the registers. The clerks provided an undisclosed amount of cash from one register to the suspect. The suspect fled the area southbound on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, thin build, wearing sunglasses, "biker style" mouth covering, American Eagle gray hooded sweatshirt, and tan pants.
The weapon he was carrying is a long gun, possibly a rifle or shotgun.
Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
