TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Pasco Sheriff's detectives have confirmed the identity of the body found in Tarpon Springs on Friday is that of a missing Citrus County man, deputies said.

PCSO said the body of Billy Shuler was identified through fingerprint analysis. His body was found by Pasco Sheriff's deputies on Friday in a wooded area south of B21 liquors in Tarpon Springs, deputies said.

Deputies said Shuler left his home at 11 a.m. on May 21 to visit an acquaintance in Holiday. His wife reported him missing on May 22, deputies said, and his truck was located outside a storage facility at 5334 Provost Drive, Holiday, with evidence found inside the truck that suggests foul play.
